This service has been in operation for a number of years and
has been DFES registered since July 2005. It is a co-educational, day
provision, catering for the secondary education phase range.
Students are those who present challenging behaviour, often
with Statements of Special Needs for emotional, behavioural and social
difficulties.
The aim of Learn 4 Life is to ensure that students are able
to access full time educational provision. This aim is achieved by
promoting an ethos of unconditional acceptance and equipping students
with the skills to gain control in their lives by developing a sense of
self-esteem and community inclusion.
Students are primarily looked after children,
placed at Care Afloat Limited, Registered Children's Homes, and Local
Authority Learn 4 Life referrals.
